Ok my makeup loving friends, I need your help!
As you may remember, I have been on a strict no buy for a while now. Reason being, my makeup collection was getting out of hand (is that even possible?) I was getting overwhelmed by all the wonder products that I have and yet never use. So many things get lost in the shuffle do to “out of sight, out of mind.”
Here is where I need your help…I need suggestions of makeup storage organizers. I don’t want something bulky that is going to take up a ton of room. I want something sleek and stylish, yet functional and manageable. If you have something that you store your makeup in that works well for you, I would love to hear about it! Links are welcomed and encouraged!

This may sound funny, but I actually used office organizers for storage! Pencil cups for brushes. Paper organizers for palettes etc! Be creative. My makeup collection ended up growing so now I went back to a drawer, but I used organizers from the dollar store to separate eyeliners, loose eyeshadows, mascaras, lip glosses etc…. Hope that helped ! If you want to be extra creative I’ve seen an upside down Lego block storage and thought that was so cool and genius (:

Thanks for the great ideas! I’ll have to check it out! I bet letter holders would work well for pallets! That Lego block storage sounds interesting too, my son has TONS of Legos! 🙂

Do a declutter and if you still need to organize after, not sure where you live, but look at TJ Maxx or Home Goods for those clear acrylic storage drawers. I’ve gotten a bunch of them there. Letter sorters are great for organizing palettes. Check out my blog as I have a post on affordable storage ideas & a vanity your so you can see how I organized my stuff.

Tossing unnecessary items seems like a better idea. Decluttering is always better than organising.

Me too. I have my makeup in drawers and boxes so I have to tip it out to find stuff. Would be easier with nice storage x

Yup, that’s what happens with me as well. Every once in a while I will search through all of it and rediscover something wonderful.
