With a last name like Joli, which means “pretty” or “beautiful” in French, it’s no wonder that a beauty blog is a perfect fit for me. I’ve always had a deep passion for the world of beauty, from makeup and fashion to jewelry and hair. Even as a child, I dreamt of becoming a hairdresser, and though my path took a different turn as an Oncology R.N. turned stay-at-home mom, I still hold that love for everything beauty-related close to my heart.

As a mother and nurse, my days are often filled with caring for others, leaving little time for myself. But amidst the hustle and bustle, I always make sure to carve out a moment to indulge in some self-care and “looking joli good.”

      1. Thanks for reading and commenting! Denominationally, I haven’t quite ended up anywhere yet. I’m still in the deciding phase. I have learned so much over the last few years and haven’t found the right fit quite yet.
        While I am unsure of what I do want, I definitely know what I don’t want when it comes to denominations. Learning what I don’t want has been an important step in finding a path that aligns with my values and provides the spiritual fulfillment I seek. It’s yet to be determined where I will land.
