How ’bout Them Samples?! #2

I have been doing really well with not making any unnecessary beauty purchases! I don’t think that I have ever gone this long before. So far, so good. I have walked down the beauty rows several times just to see what is new, and I have successfully left without buying anything!

As part of my self imposed “strict no buy”, I decided to use samples that I have already received but have been neglecting. Here is the second group of what I have decided to try out…

I have so many samples that I don’t even remember where I got all of them from originally. I know some are from ipsy bags, or Target boxes and others from Walmart beauty boxes. I will let you know in a few weeks what I think of each thing and if I would purchase these items based on my thoughts from these samples.

Makeup and Outfit Of The Day

Makeup of the day, using some of my favorite brands Maybelline, Lorac, Seraphine Botanicals, Covergirl, the balm, Tarte and Loreal. (Check back tomorrow for a full post about the Loreal Magic BB!)

Also here is a picture of me wearing the makeup, but although it isn’t actually a close up of my face, I really just wanted to show off this really cute outfit I just bought. So this post is actually a MOTD/OOTD post. I got this outfit at Marshalls for less than $50 USD. The shirt has a super cute gold zipper detail on the back.

(Seriously though, how huge is my phone?! Haha, it’s new too and I love it! It is a Nexus 6P.)

While I often try to give recommendations for affordable drugstore products, this is one that I just have to recommend a high end product for… Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Ave Princess is the best bronzer I have ever used! None of the other bronzers I have tried have even come close to this one! This shade works great for most skin tones. It is subtle enough to give a natural looking sun kissed glow and is not overly dark or muddy looking. Sometimes I will even use it as an eyeshadow, it is perfect in the crease. It is also very long lasting, buildable, and little bit goes a long way.

At $30.00 for 0.32 oz this bronzer is not cheap, but it is so good that it is definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this bronzer!
