1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

When I saw the title I thought of the Matthew West song. My favorite line- “The prisoner that it really frees is you”- so true, but so many choose to remain in bondage because the person “doesn’t deserve” forgiveness.

That is my favorite line as well! The words to this song have really convicted me and greatly helped me get over a time in my life when I really needed to forgive yet really didn’t want.
