Once again, I’m so happy that I made a switch from ipsy to Boxy charm!  The boxes are more expensive, Boxycharm is $21/month/box instead of $10/ month/bag.  Boxy Charm has 5 full-sized products instead of 5 sample sized.

Originally, I was only planning on getting Boxy Charm for three months,  I have loved everything so much so far that I signed on for another three months… No one is surprised I’m sure.

ULTRA SATIN LIP by Colourpop $6.00

High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long. 
#BoxyTip: Start with freshly exfoliated lips to achieve the smoothest application! Then, line your lips with a matching pencil; this will help you achieve the perfect finished look and give the appearance of fuller lips. Next, apply your Ultra Satin Lip in a thin layer for most comfortable wear.I was really excited to try out this shade is beautiful, and out of the 4 shades being offered, it is probably the shade that I would have picked out for myself if given the choice. That being said… it goes on beautifully and feels comfortable on the lips, but it does not wear off gracefully!  Instead of looking like a pink nude with purple undertones,  it looks like a bright magenta.  It went from being super cute to scary!  I tried to wipe it off without any luck.  My lips were stained this bright fuchsia color from almost 2 days.

I generally apply my foundation with a beauty sponge, so I wasn’t overly excited to receive this brush. Turns out though the more I use this brush the more I like it.  It is super soft and densely packed. It has a little indentation in the center for placing the product in.  At first, I didn’t really like this, but I have found that if I press a bit harder it gets the job done nicely.  I still finish off my application with a damp beauty sponge, but that is just because personally, I prefer a more natural foundation application

PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette – Value $34

This essential palette is filled with highly pigmented and silky smooth shadows.

Up until now, I had never swatched or used any eyeshadows from Pur Cosmetics, so I didn’t know what to expect. Wow, this palette really surprised me!

The shadows are so soft, smooth and velvetey.  These shades are my jam!  I love the selection of transition shades, defining shades and those sparkling shimmer shades are what makes me love makeup so much!  I have been wearing this palette every day since I recieved it and I am in love!

Originally I was only planning on getting Boxy Charm for three months, which would mean that I only have one month left…  We’ll see how things go next month…because the first two boxes have been awesome, I have a feeling that I will be wanting to continue my subscription past the three months.
