I’m so happy that I made a switch from ipsy to Boxy charm! The boxes are more expensive, ($21/month/box instead of $10/ month/bag) but Boxy Charm has 5 full-sized products instead of 5 sample sized.

ULTRA SATIN LIP by Colourpop $6.00
High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long.

I was really excited to try out this shade is beautiful, and out of the 4 shades being offered, it is probably the shade that I would have picked out for myself if given the choice. That being said… it goes on beautifully and feels comfortable on the lips, but it does not wear off gracefully! Instead of looking like a pink nude with purple undertones, it looks like a bright magenta. It went from being super cute to scary! I tried to wipe it off without any luck. My lips were stained this bright fuchsia color from almost 2 days.

If I were a person that uses brow pencils I might be excited about this product…I don’t use brow pencils, so I’m not impressed. I’ll probably give it to someone else who will enjoy it. Also, come on MAC , $18.00 and no spoolie, seriously?

I generally apply my foundation with a beauty sponge, so I wasn’t overly excited to receive this brush. Turns out though the more I use this brush the more I like it. It is super soft and densely packed. It has a little indentation in the center for placing the product in. At first, I didn’t really like this, but I have found that if I press a bit harder it gets the job done nicely. I still finish off my application with a damp beauty sponge, but that is just because personally, I prefer a more natural foundation application

I love blush! I feel as if you can easily transform your face from looking tired and pale to looking bright and refreshed just by applying a bit of blush. I really like this blush, it is a great coral color that’ll be flattering on most skin tones. This container holds 7g/0.24 oz of loose blush, that is going to last for a really long time! That being said, I’d never pay $35 for any blush, even one that will last forever.
PUR Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette – Value $34
This essential palette is filled with highly pigmented and silky smooth shadows.
#BoxyTip: Use the colors in the vertical rows, from top to bottom, to add highlight, definition, and drama.
Up until now, I had never swatched or used any eyeshadows from Pur Cosmetics, so I didn’t know what to expect. Wow, this palette really surprised me!
The shadows are so soft, smooth and velvetey. These shades are my jam! I love the selection of transition shades, defining shades and those sparkling shimmer shades are what makes me love makeup so much! I have been wearing this palette every day since I recieved it and I am in love!
Originally I was only planning on getting Boxy Charm for three months, which would mean that I only have one month left… We’ll see how things go next month…because the first two boxes have been awesome, I have a feeling that I will be wanting to continue my subscription past the three months.
