Juvia’s Place isn’t a brand that I previously knew a lot about. Recently, I have been curious to try out Juvia’s place eyeshadows because of the gorgeous eyeshadow looks created by my beautiful Instagram friend @the.mediocre.mrs. 😍

I purchased my two palettes from Ulta for $14 USD. There are eight different six pan palettes available from Juvia’s Place. While the Nudes and Mauves are my favorites, there are all types of combinations of colors for different eye looks.

When trying to decide which palettes to try out, naturally, I was drawn to the beautiful The Nudes by Juvia’s palette because working with neutral eyeshadows are my every day go to. Since pink is my favorite color, I was also drawn to the beautiful pink shades in the Mauves by Juvia’s palette. 💕

I used to love large palettes with lots of shades to choose from, but I’ve come to realize that I actually prefer smaller 4-6 pan palettes to the larger ones. What about you, what’s your palette size preference?

The shadows are soft and smooth, but also quite pigmented. The sparkly ones are of course my favorites! 🤩

I must also note that not all of these “shadows” are listed as “eye safe”. Several of these shades are “pressed pigments” which are listed as “not intended to be used around the immediate eye area.” This is not an uncommon thing for eye shadow palettes. Many eye shadow palettes for sale are actually pressed pigments and not not intended to be used around the immediate eye area.
