Here’s another tip for Tip Tuesday:

Today’s tip is about removing your makeup:

Sometimes I fall asleep on the couch before I have washed my makeup off.  It could be so tempting to go right to bed without washing my face…

Never go to bed with makeup on!  Your skin with thank you and you will be glad that you did.  A little bit of extra time at night is totally worth it! My morning makeup application takes me half the time it used to because my skin is so healthy.

This is the make up I was wearing during the day. This is how easily my waterproof makeup wiped off.
My favorite way to remove my makeup is with Ponds Cold Cream Cleanse

It’s thick and feels a little greasy as it rubs into the skin.  As I gently rub it on, my makeup literally melts right off!  No scrubbing, no harsh rubbing, just melts right off!

I use a damped old face cloth to wipe off the cream from my face and then rinse my face with warm water.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever slept in makeup, at least not intentionally! My skin wouldn’t like me afterwards if I did. I keep seeing about Pond’s cold cream and have thought about trying it but I’m always nervous about cream cleansers as they seem a bit oily for my skin but the results seem like they might be worth trying it.

  2. I have a friend who frequently sleeps in her makeup! I finally forced her to Kiehl’s and she got their cleansing oil to try out. She seems to like it so far but it’s only been 2 weeks – I wonder if she will stick to a routine!
I find cream cleansers a bit messy and not right for my skin type but I do love cleansing oils and balms. I cannot imagine sleeping in makeup, ever! 😮
