Here’s another tip for Tip Tuesday:
Today’s tip is about A Makeup Mistake When Applying Lipstick That May Make You Look Older :
Tip 5: When choosing your lipstick shade, don’t choose a nude shade, choose shades that are closer to the darkest part of your lips:
Losing fullness and pigmentation in the lips is something that happens naturally as we age. While nude lip colors are quite popular and some shades are beautiful, choosing a shade that is too close to your skin tone will cause your lips to blend in causing a loss in your natural lip line.
Since aging causes the lips to thin and nude lips cause a loss of the natural lip line, using a nude shade will cause you to look older than you actually are. Instead, choose shades that are closer to the darkest part of your lips to keep a more youthful look to the entire face.
As I mentioned the last few weeks, there is nothing wrong with getting older, but there is no reason to make yourself look older than you are. Follow these tips to avoid making makeup mistakes that make you look older than you actually are.
Don’t be too hard on yourself, we all make mistakes. 😉
