Because I am always on the lookout for my next favorite chapstick/lip balm I keep buying more and more.

I purchased this one not only just because I love chapstick/lip balm, but also because I love grapefruit. While I love to buy new chapstick/lip balms, I am actually very picky about my lip products.

I love this Yes to Grapefruit Lip Balm!

I think that this one is very quickly becoming my favorite of all lip balms! It leaves my lips very smooth and it has a nice scent. I love that the balm is actually shaped like your lips.

For me, lip balm is a daily way of life, not just once a day but many times throughout the day and especially at bedtime.

One thing I don’t like about some chapsticks/lip balms is they are just too heavy and waxy. This one is pure enjoyment. It is light, fresh, smooth, and shiny. I can’t always find it in stores where I live, and then I get nervous that it has been diacontinued, but then I will find it again and of course I buy it to always have back up! (Do you do that too?!)

Do you already know about Huda Kattan?

If you don’t know about Huda, I would love to introduce you to her! Her’s is the first beauty blog I ever read. She is very big into skin care and her tips and tricks are amazing. I have tried out so many products due to her recommendation, and have loved them all.

She is absolutely gorgeous, has a wonderfully sweet personality and a beautiful smile! Her contouring is like no other! She has her own line of eyelashes that are absolutely gorgeous!

If you have never checked out her blog or YouTube channel I highly suggest you do! I love all of her videos but her get ready with mes are some of my favorites. I love to watch her transform her nose with conturing. (she is beautiful without the contouring, but it’s amazing to watch what she can do!)

I’m going to be starting a new series called…Tip Tuesdays!

I hope to give you some little tips and tricks that help to make a big difference in your daily makeup/beauty routine!

Tip #1: If you want your eyeshadow to blend more evenly and easily without creasing or fading, you need to try this tip:

Working one eye at a time, prime your eyelid with an eye primer, paint pot, or even use concealer or just your foundation. Then immediately set with a translucent powder.

When you go to apply your eye shadows you will notice how much more easily they will apply.

This little step will create a smoother canvas on your eyelid to lay down your colors. You’ll be amazed at how even cheaper, harder to work with shadows will blend more easily.

I bought this lip gloss a little while back and for some reason completely forgot about it and never used it. I was just recently sorting through and cleaning up some of my makeup and I rediscovered it. Not really thinking about it I put it and and instantly fell in love!

I am so picky when it comes to lip glosses. I don’t like for my lips to feel uncomfortable at all! This one glides on so smoothly and it is so silky, not sticky at all. It has a nice light pleasant scent. It also has a nice light faint pink color, not too pigmented, but it is also not meant to be pigmented. It gives a natural but beautiful sheen to the lips.

Ladies! I don’t know about you, but Winter Is Killing My Skin!

Gone are the days of dealing with an oily face, hello red irritation and dry patches! Hmmm, I’m not sure which of the two is worse…

I have been drinking a lot of water, using moisturizing masks. I even tried applying a thicker moisturizer at night. That was a no go! It made my skin breakout like crazy! Yes, I now have younger looking skin, but it is only younger looking because I look like a teenager with acne! Talk about adding insult to injury right?!

Just another reason to hate the cold and snow of the winter. This too shall pass…just not soon enough!

While, I don’t recommend clogging your pours by over moisturizing at night, I do recommend the Hada Labo Tokyo Ultimate Anti Aging Facial Mask. They are sold at Target. You get 4 in a pack for $14.99. (that comes to about $3.75 each.) They recommend using the mask 1-3 times a week. My skin does feel more moisturized after I use one of the masks. Added bonus you look super cute while wearing it too 😉

I received the Lather Honey Moisture Mask with Propolis Extract in an ipsy bag. I love this mask and have been using it quite often since I got it last month. It is marketed specifically as relieving skin that is “stressed by nature’s harsh elements.” You can find it on Amazon for $22 for a 4 ounce tub. A little goes a long way, but is still very moisturizing. It has a delightful honey scent.
