Instead of using a pencil, gel, or liquid liner to line the lower lash line use eye shadow. Take a small eyeshadow brush and a coordinating eyeshadow and apply it to the outer two-thirds of the lower lash line. Blending the darker color with the inner corner color will create a beautifully seamless look along the lower lash line. This simple trick will give dimension and depth to the eyes without looking too harsh. Don’t forget to blend blend blend!

Another month has flown by and November is half way over already! If you are from the USA, can you believe that it is already Thanksgiving next week?! Especially since I forgot to post October’s ipsy glam bag until the beginning of November it really seems as if the month flew by even faster!
Almost all the ladies that I work with now subscribe to ipsy. I always loving seeing what everyone else received in their bags every month.

November’s theme was “Rockstarlet: Rock out like a knockout”
This months bag is super cute! The material it is a thick sturdy smooth cotton with makeup inspired constellations on it. Ipsters either got black and silver or the one like I received blue and gold. It is a nice shape. I like that the zipper is across the top and how cute is it that the zipper pull is a star?! As usual my daughter took one look at the bag and said “I want it!” I told her we can share it, but I don’t plan to actual share it, haha. 😉

The package it came in was quite large, but this sample is actually tiny! I have gotten several orange/coral blushes in my glam bags recently. I generally always wore more pink toned blushes, but having since tried these coral colored blushes I really like the way they look on me.

Skone Cosmetics Brow Wand Eyebrow Pencil in Chocolate
When I first saw this in my bag I thought it was ANOTHER black eyeliner. I only now when taking the picture for this post just realized that it is a brown pencil. I already have a pretty decent brow routine, so I will probably pass this along to my sister.

The packaging is annoying the way that the top fits into the tube. As you might be able to tell from the below picture it kind of clicks into the tube (it reminds me of the Tartiest sample mascara). Due to the way the packaging is it makes it hard to be able to get the excess mascara off the brush . I am not sure if it is the same for the full sized mascara, but it is annoying!

A few weeks ago I swatched the Happy Hour Hues set that is available at Kohls. Unfortunately, even though they are beautiful, I felt as if the shades available wouldn’t work well with my skin tone. So despite the great deal, I passed on buying the glosses.

I am so happy that I decided to buy this set. Each of these colors is absolutely beautiful in a very different way. I can’t decide which one is my favorite… probably Goddess, a purple tones mauve, which is another “my lips but better” shade. So far I have really been enjoying wearing It Girl, the golden flecks are beautiful and when it wears off they still look great without looking crazy like some sparkly glosses can. Bae is a beautiful pink toned neutral shade that is similar to Sex Symbol from the Love Lust & Lace set.
Sex Symbol from last year’s set is very similar to Bae in this year’s A Lavish Love Affair set from Ulta.
I thought for sure that Icon (cherry red) wasn’t going to work with my skin tone. When I put it on, I realized that it is more of a glossy watermelon red than a brick red like last years Vamp red shade is. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is. Dominatrix (deep burgundy) was in last years set as well and it makes my teeth look extra white. I have not worn Diva yet, but I know that I will get a lot of use out of this set.

This is a super simple trick will make it look like light is bouncing off your eyes! Apply a light shade sparkly eyeshadow right under the eyebrow and in your tear duct. Use a light hand and simply dust it on. You will look as if you have a sparkle to your eyes.

Remember the bud I shared the other day that was full of potential? In just a few short days that small bud has turned into this amazingly beautiful flower. Time, water, and sunshine produced this gorgeous flower from the small bud. It is hard to imagine that all of these large beautiful petals were contained in that small bud. This picture cannot even come close to capturing the amazing beauty of what this flower looks like in real life.

Beaute BasicsSatin Taupe Eye Shadow
It is super soft and creamy texture. It goes on smooth and is super blendable, you can build up the color as well as making it look smokey. I have already worn this eyeshadow several times and I really like it.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation
I received it in the shade 117=Y225 (Marble) which looks as if it is going to be a good match for me.
Here is the thing about this foundation… I haven’t used it yet, I am super excited about receiving it, but I am afraid that I am going to love it and then want to spend $43 on buying the full size of this foundation. Haha, I just might be crazy…
This is a superfine eyeliner pen that is waterproof and smudge proof. It has a pointed tip that makes it simple to get into the spaces between the lashes.
So, yeah, I have gotten a black eyeliner in my ipsy bag for 5 of the last 7 months…oh well, I guess it is a good thing I like eyeliner and wear it every day.

I love chapstick! Well, let me rephrase that, I love smooth, creamy, not waxy, not sticky chapsticks. I really love this one. It smells sweet and fruity, kinda like a pina colada. I was in love at first swipe. It makes my lips feel so nice and moisturized!
BeFine Food Skin Care Exfoliating Cleanser
This exfoliator smells like sweet caramel almonds. It lathers up very nicely and has larger sugar granules that melt away pretty quickly. I generally like a finer grain longer lasting exfoliating experience, but I actually do like this one too. Plus the scent is so nice and yummy I wish I could eat it!
