Moisturizing Shine with a Non-Sticky Feel

I recently spent some time with my sister who lives out of town.  I love to look through other people’s makeup collections (Am I alone here? How about you? Do you like looking at other people’s makeup too?) She had all kinds of great products.  Some I have tried and love, some I have never tried and always wondered about, some that don’t work for me but work out great for her.  Isn’t that the awesome thing about makeup, it is so individual and personal.My sister Sarah | lookingjoligood.blog

Being a huge fan of glossy lips, I noticed right away that she had two tubes of Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses in her bag.  She had the shades Rosy Future and Pink Pop.  I am a huge fan of the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick line, but I had never tried the glosses.  When I asked her how she likes them, she said that they are great, but the Rosy Future shade doesn’t work with her coloring.

She asked me if I wanted it and I said yes! I am not exaggerating when I tell you I instantly fell in love with this gloss as soon as I put it on!  The shade is perfect for my coloring (don’t you love it when that happens?!)

The gloss goes on smoothly and evenly without feeling sticky at all.   It does not bleed outside the lip line. It has a great sparkly shine that is not glittery.  The gloss also wears off well.  I cannot stand it when a sparkly gloss wears off leaving a weird looking glittery residue on the lips. (not cute!)

No Gym? No Problem! #46 Fitness Blender Cardio Kickboxing Workout

After several weeks posting kickboxing workouts, you might have realized that kickboxing is still my favorite type of workout!  You cannot beat getting an overall body workout in a short amount of time.

I have been doing this Fitness blender kickboxing workout all this past week and I love it! I want you to be able to benefit from it too!

This workout is only 23 minutes, twenty-three minutes is so short, yet it is still a great workout!

If you are a person that needs music to workout with, you will need to add your own soundtrack because this workout doesn’t have any background music with it.

I mentioned in posts recently that I have been teaching a Bible study at my church from the book by Nicki Koziarz Why Her? 6 Truths You Need to Hear When Measuring Up leaves you Falling Behind.

Spending time preparing for the study, as well as spending time with the ladies that attend the study has made a big impact on my life!

This book has so many great truths in it. One of the truths that Nicki shares is “Her Gain Is Not Your Loss”

“Pride convinces us that if someone else wins, we somehow lose. But God wants us to know that if “she” wins we all win. HIs promises are for everyone, helping us all work together for a greater purpose. A greater purpose than what we could do alone. I mentioned in a post recently that I have been teaching a Bible study at my church using the book by Nicki Koziarz Why Her? 6 Truths You Need to Hear When Measuring Up leaves you Falling Behind.

Spending time preparing for the study, as well as spending time with the ladies that attend the study has made a big impact on my life!  This book has so many great truths in it. One of the first truths that Nicki shares is  “You Need to Be Honest”. Here are a few highlights that made an impression on me.

“Honesty teaches us to stop fearing what we don’t have so we can see what we do.

We often lose who we are while trying to become someone we aren’t.

Honesty can lead us to quiet places where we seek to understand rather than merely react.

Turning Off the Noise and Getting Quiet

Since around this time last year, I have been teaching a Bible study at my church.  It is one of my favorite things to do to serve in my church.  Spending time preparing for the study, as well as spending time with the ladies that attend the study has made a big impact on my life!

The last few months we have been doing our study from the book by Nicki Koziarz Why Her? 6 Truths You Need to Hear When Measuring Up leaves you Falling Behind.  This book has so many great truths in it.  I have learned so much in preparing for the study each week.  I love it when God uses different ways to give us just what we need to hear.
