Ok, so this is not my typical workout at all, but I did this one the other day and it was just too fun not to share.  With 22 million view, it has got to be a good one right 😉  I am not coordinated at all when it comes to dancing, so I can only imagine what I looked like doing these Bollywood inspired moves. I love her accent!  Have fun!

I have mentioned before that I love cardio kickboxing.  I love any workout that is going to get my heart rate up while working my entire body at the same time!  The next day you’ll feel this workout in you arms, back, and abs.

If you are a person that needs music to workout with, you will need to add your own soundtrack because this workout doesn’t have any background music with it.

Do you have 25 minutes to improve your health and wellness? Yes, You Do! No excuses! Just do it, you will be so happy that you did! Remember to keep good proper form, warm up before, and stretch after you exercise!

Tips and Tricks

Tip Tuesday #35

Here is another tip for Tip Tuesday!

Tip Tuesday: Make up tips and tricks every Tuesday | lookingjoligood.wordpress.com

This week’s tip is to use coconut oil as a makeup remover

I have mentioned before that I have to wear waterproof mascara if I want my lashes to stay curled.  Since it is waterproof most regular cleanser will not remove my mascara.  I like to remove every single little bit of my makeup every night, so I needed to figure out a way to get all my waterproof mascara off.  That is when I discovered coconut oil as a makeup remover.

Trader Joe's coconut-oil | lookingjoligood.wordpress.com

Coconut oil is great for so many things, but one of my favorite things to use it for is a natural makeup remover.  A small amount goes a very long way, so a jar or bottle will last a long time!

I start with my eyes since it takes a little while for the oil to breakdown the mascara. I use take one pump of fractionated coconut oil or one tiny scoop of organic unrefined coconut oil.  I rub it gently on my eyes in a circular motion.  I let that settle in while I remove the rest of the make up from my face.

To remove the rest of the rest of my face makeup, I gently rub coconut oil in a circular motion all over my face. I wash it all off with a warm wet wash cloth*.

*You don’t want to let the coconut oil filled water that you rinse off your face with go down the drain.  Over time it will harden and clog up your pipes.  Pretty gross!

You know I love my girl Jessica Smith!  She is so encouraging and has some really great workouts. I thought that this was an interesting twist on a cardio workout.  You will need a light ball, nothing fancy, I used my son’s soccer ball.  Peanut is in this video too, always a funny distraction.

Extreme Beauty Guide

Here is a Step by Step guide to extreme beauty!

1) Stop comparing yourself to anyone else!

Extreme beauty guide | lookingjoligood.wordpress.com

That is it!  In this world of social media, it is so hard not to get sucked into comparing ourselves with others. We now see so much more of people’s “private” lives. The problem is that we are usually comparing all of our flaws with the snapshots they choose to share of an edited filtered version of a picture perfect life.  Their reality is that they are also not perfect, they too have flaws that we do not see.

When I feel myself comparing myself to others in a negative way,  I remind myself that the only person that I need to be comparing myself to is the one I see in the mirror.  I need to focus on being a better version of myself than I was yesterday…

I love cardio kick boxing workouts.  I love any workout that is going to get my heart rate up while working my entire body at the same time!  Just to warn you this is an intense workout.  You will feel it the next day!  You’ll be super sore, but it is such a rewarding feeling knowing exactly the many muscles that you have worked in your back abs and arms!  If you don’t feel like you can do it all, just do the modifications, or if you are getting worn out just keep moving with a boxer shuffle and continue when you catch your breath.  You can do it!

Take 35 minutes and improve your day, your heath and wellness is worth it! Remember to keep good proper form, warm up before, and stretch after you exercise!  As always… No Excuses! Just Do IT!
