You don’t need a bunch of gym equipment to get yourself into shape.  You don’t even need hand weights, all you need is your own body weight.  I love to use my own body weight for strength training!  I can tell you from personal experience that these 8 moves will help to build your strength!

Be sure to use good form when performing these moves!  Besides the lunges, I love all of these moves! I HATE lunges!

What a great way to start out the new year with a great stretching workout!

You may not realize it, but flexibility is just as important for you as strength and cardio!  Sometimes I am so sore from a previous intense workout that I need to focus for a few days on flexibility and stretching.  This is a quick 10-minute flexibility workout by (my favorite) Jessica Smith!

My Seventeen Favorites of 2017

I cannot believe that 2017 is already practically over!  Time really does fly!  I remember saying to one of my patients in May that it would be 4th of July in no time, and here it is already almost New Year’s Eve!  Where did the year go?!

Despite the time flying, I have fallen in love with some great products this past year.  Here is a list of my favorite 17 things or 2017. I have included both beauty and non-beauty related items with links to make shopping easier 🙂

    • The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst.  I have read a lot of books this year (65 to be exact.) I have read some great ones and some not so great ones.  Out of all the books that I have read this year, The Best Yes by Lysa TurKerst has made the most impact on my life.  I have been teaching a Bible study at my church based on this book. Since it was Christmas yesterday, you got a break from your Monday morning workout, but that doesn’t mean you can take today off too. 😉

This 15-minute workout used cardio to target the belly fat and tone your abs.  Having strong abs not only helps you to look better but it will also improve your posture as well as decrease back pain.
